• Jack The Lad Gave His Time To Support The Rockinghorse Children's Charity

Jack The Lad, More Radio DJ was kind enough to make this video clip.I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Rockinghorse Children's Charity, Festive Fundraiser Gig on 3rd December 2019, at the Amex Stadium, Brighton, as a guest of Close Brothers Invoice Finance, one of our panel of funding partners.

    Jack The Lad

"Jack The Lad", the popular radio DJ, real name Jack Hayes who has just joined More Radio, was there giving his time, free of charge, to compare the charity evening. What a generous gesture.

When I mentioned that he was my wife's favourite breakfast radio DJ he was kind enough to produce the following short video clip for her - what a decent guy! We will be retuning to Radio More in the mornings!

It was a really good night, despite a few absences on our table due to illness. There was a raffle, an  auction and a prize draw to raise money for the Rockinghorse Children's Charity. The Brighton based charity was set up over 50 years ago, in 1967, by Dr Trevor Mann. The charity seeks to improve healthcare services for sick children and babies, throughout Sussex.

You can donate to the children's charity here: Rockinghorse Children's Charity - your support would be very much appreciated. On the night we heard a first hand account of how the charity has helped sick children, so it was a pleasure to be able to help them raise some money for this very worthy Sussex based cause.

    More Radio

Jack joined More Radio last month after being part of the Heart Radio breakfast show since 2003. He was part of the popular breakfast show "Tom, Nicola and Jack", with fellow presenters, Tom Evans and Nicola Hume. Earlier this year he left Heart when the Heart breakfast show went national.

He will be joining the existing breakfast team on More Radio, Nick Osborne and Lou Nash. Good luck Jack.
