    Today Marks 20 Years In Business

    I have been in business for 20 years.

    Today marks my personal anniversary of 20 years in business. I can't  believe that it's been over two decades since I left my last job, and started working for myself. I feel I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity.

    I have had plenty of ups (and a few downs) over that period, but I am still here. Overall I would totally recommend working for yourself to anyone that asked. It has given me the freedom to pursue all sorts of different ideas, and to develop those that worked best. It has also allowed me to choose to do what I enjoy.

    Over the last 20 years I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of businesses, both within invoice finance and across a range of different industry sectors.

    Business and marketing consultancy was where I started, that developed into offering telemarketing and research services, which in turn gave rise to our invoice finance brokerage. In addition to the finance brokerage, and research within the sector, I have continued to provide customer satisfaction monitoring to companies outside of our sector. All the skills picked up along the way have helped us with our own ventures, I spend a lot of time writing material online, and for our FundingVoice magazine which I promote through a wide network of social media channels. At present I am almost finished co-authoring a business sales book, which has been an interesting side project during the lockdown - watch this space for further details of that. 

    I have been lucky enough to have worked with some exceptional people, including our team at FundInvoice. I can't imagine ever stopping, so here's to the next however many years!
